Przybylski Private Collection [1970-2012]

“Przybylski Private Collection” is a series of vintage photographs by Marguerite Przybylski – family portraits and landscapes dating from 1970 to 1980.
Marguerite was living in Munich, Germany, and she traveled all around the world until her daughter passed away in 2012.  While her relatives were all deceased, she was the last remaining in the family. Marguerite was close to German uncle Joseph Yammine who looked after her for more than 10 years and brought her twice to Lebanon.
The first photograph showcased in this collection is a portrait of Marguerite and her family, a mise-en-scène in her toilet in Munich, executed in 2012 right after she gave me her family photos. At the age of 93, Marguerite Przybylski slipped in the toilet and passed away.
Someone so special can never be forgotten, may her soul rest in peace.
